Lloyd Landon Horn, 78, of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania passed away April 25, 2024, at the Chambersburg Hospital. He was born on October 20, 1945, in Hagerstown, Maryland to Lloyd Morris Horn and Hazel (Appel) Wadel.
Landon graduated from Chambersburg Area High Senior School. He retired from the United States Army after 29 years of service. He was a supply property book manager for the 357th Transportation Unit. He also retired from Letterkenny Army Depot where he worked as a Supplies System Analyst. Landon was a life member of the Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department, where he was part of the fire police.
He enjoyed going to the shooting range, photography, and working on his lawn. He loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, as well as planning and attending events with his Army buddies.
Landon is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia Ann Horn, daughters; Angela (wife of Rob Olyphant) Horn and Karen (wife of Craig) Luzier, granddaughter Addison Luzier, and a step-brother, Glenn Wadel. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg, with Pastor John Kratz officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and for one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, both at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Waynesboro.
